4th & 5th Grade is the first introduction to our Major/Minor system. After auditioning, students pick S&E as either a Major or a Minor. Majors are in the lab on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Minors come into the lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At this level, we get to experience a wide variety of science disciplines. But don't forget... it's not just the content, it's how to be a scientist! Each unit is finished off with the student Consortiums presenting their results in a Peer Review format. Keep checking in on this site for dates of upcoming presentations. Remember, these are ASSIGNMENTS! 4th/5th Majors also get the opportunity to do some field work in both Physics and Environmental/Atmospheric Sciences. Stay tuned for more great events and news!!
